Who Are We?

We’re The Almost There Family, a family of four swapping the ordinary 9-5 grind for a life on the open road.

We grew up believing in the traditional path: build a career, work hard, get married, buy a house, have kids, and send them off to school. But as I (Kirsty) began focusing on my mental health and tapping into my spirituality, I realised this lifestyle no longer made sense to me.

We’ve always dreamed of traveling more, often watching other families live this adventurous life, but never thought it could be us doing it full-time. With the pressures of work, finances, and everyday life building up, we made a bold, spontaneous decision—sell everything we own (including our home), buy a motorhome, and hit the road to explore Europe.

We plan to document our travels on our YouTube channel, Instagram, and TikTok, not only to store our memories but also to hopefully inspire other families considering a big life change.
